On Remembrance Sunday there is an Act of Remembrance at the village War Memorial at 10.45 a.m. It lasts for about a quarter of an hour. The names of the fallen from the parish are read out before the two minute silence. May we never forget those from the village who gave their lives for our freedom today.
The union Chapel is open for coffee afterwards.
The Service in the Parish Church on this day is held at 9.30 a.m. instead of the usual 10.00 a.m.so that those wishing to do so have time to join the service at the village Memorial. This service will be a reflective service including hymns and Bible readings for Remembrance Sunday and a special anthem from the choir.
